Heather & Jason | Elizabeth Park Wedding | May The 4th Be With You
Heather & Jason got married at Chateau On the River, tucked inside Elizabeth Park, in Trenton, MI.
With the ceremony taking place outside with the Detroit River serving as the backdrop and a lot of other beautiful spots close by it was a photographers dream venue.
Since the venue was on the river and we had a week of constant rain leading up to the wedding I was a little concerned our photo spot would be underwater. Luckily the only issue we had to deal with was prom photos, but even those finished up quick once they saw us.
The whole bridal party was a lot of fun and willing to do lots of fun spots before it got super cold out. The groom and groomsmen all had matching star wars socks on to celebrate May 4th or Star Wars Day, May the 4th be with you!
Heather and Jason even put their on spin on Star Wars with their reception entrance. A remix to the emipirial march got every excited and a quick switch to “Can’t Hold Us” as the doors open got the entire venue excited to welcome the new couple.
To my surprise we got a beautiful sunset through the wall of windows at the venue as they had their first dance. The night ended with sparklers and I can’t think of a better way to kick off 2019 wedding season.
